So Parkinson’s Disease holds you back

Bob just completed CrossFit Total at 67 years old with Parkinson’s:

CF Total is the following:

  • 1 rep max of shoulder press (meaning no hip movement)
  • 1 rep max of deadlift (perfect form required or we stop the movement)
  • 1 rep max of back squat (same requirement for perfect form, but must be below parallel)

Results in pounds:

  • SP 145
  • DL 300 (we stopped him, because of so many previous attempts, and fear of being sore)
  • BS 220 (again, stopped him and most of us were out of time)

I’m talking about perfect form!
